Who We Are

Big Data and Urban Computing (BDUC) research group is headed by Dr. Zhidan Liu, and is part of the IoT research center, affiliated with College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen Univerisity, China. The BDUC group focuses on exploring and developing various algorithms, applications, services, and systems that support the vision of smart city (e.g., smart mobility, smart health) through efficient and effective data sensing, processing, and analysis. The research interests of BDUC group span across a wide spectrum into urban computing, Internet of Things, mobile and pervasive sensing, crowdsourcing and crowdsensing, and big data analytics.
